Live Well Sioux Falls Receives Grant to Promote Bicycling: Press Conference Tomorrow
Sioux Falls, South Dakota: Live Well Sioux Falls will announce a new grant project on Friday, September 6, 2013, that will advance active transportation within our community. They will host a press conference at 11 a.m. at the Ninth Street entrance of City Hall.
The new funding, provided by the Wellmark Foundation Matching Assets to Community Health (MATCH) grant program, will promote healthy, active living by providing resources that encourage bicycling for both recreation and commuting.
In case of inclement weather, the press conference will take place indoors in the City Hall Commission Room.
I’ve got some idea what this is about and it’s good news.
This from the Wellmark website gives some idea.
